SpyAxe
removal procedures requires technical know-how on computer
troubleshooting. It is better to consult your LAN Administrator or
Technical Persons to avoid additional damage on your computer if
modifications on Services and Registry have to be done.
MANUAL REMOVAL:
1.
Download
Smitrem Version 2.8 by
NoahdFear. Extract the files to desired
location on your hard drive.
2. Restart the computer in
"Safe Mode."
To do this,
Press F8
during boot-up process, on selection
menu, select Safe Mode.
3. Browse the folder where you extracted
the files of Smitrem,
DoubleClick
on the file
RunThis.bat to start the
process.
4. Follow
all the prompts until it thoroughly scans your system.
5. Search and delete the files if found:
svchosts.dll
wbeconm.dll
webconm.dll
mssearchnet.exe
mscornet.exe
nvctrl.exe
spyaxe.exe
netwrap.dll
ioctrl.dll
hpA75B.tmp or all the files similar to hpXXXX.tmp
where X may be any character.
6. You may
not restart the system in normal mode, the desktop settings such as
wallpaper have to be re-install manually by going to Desktop Properties.
7. In order to make sure that spyaxe is
completely eliminated from your computer, carry out a full scan of your
computer using AntiVirus and
Antispyware Software. Another way to delete the virus using various
Antivirus Program without the need to install can be done with
Online Virus
Scanner.
