4. Move each file to the Trash. This action may require administrator privilege. If you are not logged in as administrator, you need to provide required password.

    Thank you, that seemed straightforward. There were several plist items as well as Wharkike.
    When I finished all, I went back to search the whole Mac for “wharkike” and there appeared to be three files still in Applications which I did not see in another Finder window, I moved those to trash and emptied trash …
    Now I hope Safari will behave better.
    Before I started, I searched wharkike in safari and found among a long list one but clicking that link went to some different search under bing, I had to manually cut and paste the link into safari to find your helpful advice.

    After appearing fine, today I find I have a wharkike search again. This time I see no items including wharkike anywhere, and no items at all in library/launchagents or library/applicationsupport
    So I am struggling and worried!
