to rid myself of this spylocked (very similar to myzor actually) i opened the comp in safe mode and system restored it to a date i knew that was safe. this seems to have solved the problem. this is the second time i have posted this now????????????????
I try to boot my comp in safe mode but it tells me that some dll file is corrupt or missing. what should I do?
It says files are missing? If you have the Windows Install CD then boot from that and try to repair it. If you cannot do that, there are Windows Live CD’s out (they are pretty much Windows XP except it is all run directly off the CD and most of them have extra software added on them to solve problems. If it has any Partition software on it, I would split your Hard Drive, install a fresh Windows on the new partition, copy your old files over to it, and delete the old partition to get your memory back.
