UltimateCleaner is a rogue anti-spyware program that issues fake Windows security alerts and other security warnings in order to convinced computer users that computer is infected with spyware threats and need to purchase a registered version of Ultimate Cleaner to remove the trhreat.

Even worse, I just cleaned it off someone’s machine and it had 4 additional malware programs set to run and reinstall, not to mention writing a fake hosts file in windows/system32/drivers/etc/ that prevented the user from going to sites that could help clean it. They were redirected to an invalid, unroutable 10.26 address. Someone should be punched in the mouth a few hundred times for this crap.
errrr about a month or 2 ago my computer lost its control panel and pop ups saying mycomputer was being hacked came poping up like crazy, now i got my control panel running and the popups stopped… but i didnt reformat myrdrive or anything is there any risk to me possibly?????

I had the same thing. It even went so far as to change my desktop to a red screen with the biohazard symbol in the middle. Also disabled my task manager. I tried AVG and SpyHunter. Neither worked. I finally got help from Steve B at support space. smitfraudfix was the ticket, plus some other things he had to do to clean up my computer. It came back once during his session of fixing it, but he fixed it. What a horrible malware program! SpyHunter did absolutely NOTHING except cost me 29.99. Stve B from supportspace.com is fast, effecicient, and extremely knowledgeable. I could not have fixed this on my own.
I wish someone would hack that ultimate cleaner site that is responsible and totally wipe out their system! Not sure why they are even allowed to exist on the internet.
Great resource! McAfee did not detect ucleaner, but SmitfraudFix took care of it quickly & easily.
cannot login sys , when i log in safe mode i recieve blue screen . when able to log in cannot see c drive , grey out task manager , cannot ACCESS MS CONFIG , cannot run avg nor adaware . Is there a program i can use to boot in dos and run a virus scan?? need help please!!!
