plz suggest me how to remove VBS:Malware-gen. i’a using avast free edition to remove it but it’s coming back again. y antivirus is able to detect it but is unable to remove. suggest me how to remove it.
I have Avast professional 4.7.1098, and it won’t get rid of this. it’s in my bootini file on every computer and harddrive i have, i have been unable to quarantine it so it doesn’t spread. help?
I have the free avast, and I quarantined it in the “chest” thing because it infected a music file I have. What exactly does this virus do to your computer? Will simply keeping it in the chest thing help…or? I don’t really know how to remove the virus after putting the file in the chest as well, so.. can anyone help with my questions?
Please suggest me how to remove VBS:Malware-gen. . I am using Avast V 4.7 Home edition (free edition). I am unable to remove VBS:Malware-gen virus . Even I can’t format my pen drive.
I plugged a flash drive into my pc and my Avast Home Edition 4.8(free,updated from the trial version of 4.7)picked it up immediately,so I moved it to the chest and deleted it.I haven’t had any problems of recurrence yet…

Have you tried a boot scan in avast? That normally works for me when I’ve got sticky malware.
