Have you tried a boot scan in avast? That normally works for me when I’ve got sticky malware.

I have the free avast, and I quarantined it in the “chest” thing because it infected a music file I have. What exactly does this virus do to your computer? Will simply keeping it in the chest thing help…or? I don’t really know how to remove the virus after putting the file in the chest as well, so.. can anyone help with my questions?

Best thing is, download superantispywarepro. its free. Install and update.

-right click at My Computer, properties.
-go to system restore. disable it first.
-open superantispyware progam, run the scanning.

after that follow the instruction to remove the thread, its very easy.

So far as i know, this software is 90% GOOD. It can revert back your regestry system back to normal.

    have a try!

THE ONLY THING seems to be working in this case:-
    use flash drive disinfector.
it’s a small program. download it here:

    http://www.precisesecurity.com/tools-resources/adware-tools/flash-disinfector/

then run it after preferably turning off your antivirus product’s real-time protection. your screen will go blank for a moment which is normal. when it say ‘Done!’ your problem is solved. it may create a folder called autorun.inf on your pen drive which you shouldn’t delete as it will cause the virus to reappear.

You’ve gotta be kidding, if deleting that file will cause the virus to reappear then it didn’t get rid of it in the first place

well i have the same problem.but i find the soln, which i am gonna share with u.
1st of all u just download combofix on your desktop.
after that u just plug in ur pendrive or flash drive or mobile(data cable) & double clickon combofix.then it will do the rest & autorun.inf will be completely remove from ur pen drive or computer.
i think this will help u to get rid of this problem.

I had to run consecutive virus scans like the tech guys
do to get rid of it. There’s alot of free virus removers
and anti-spyware progarms out in cyberland. I made an
effort to run them single file one after another (found
out some anti-virus programs cancel each other out if
I ran two or more at the same time). I found out some
virus removers find malicious software where another
won’t but even still will find and destroy the ones that
they find. All virus’s are certianly not made the same as
another, therefore one anti-virus remover works better
than another. Sounds like clinical talk about AIDS,
    doesn’t it?

Combofix is a good tools to remove spyware & etc.
Flash-disinfector also is a good tools to clearup some annoying script & etc.

Avast, AVG and others free antivirus app is also good software to remove virus & etc.

What u need is a skills or technique to handle all these case. My suggestion is, search or gain more info about it.

My very simple last advise is,
1- Always turn-off your “System Restore” option when scan/clean/remove virus or malware.
2- Always do on “Safe Mode” not “safe mode with networking”
3- after done it all, make a “disk cleanup”.

    Happy trying!!

Run a boot-time scan with avast, it’ll pick it up and delete/quarantine it. The reason why the vbs script keeps popping back up is because you’re running avast in windows and the script or one of it’s friends is still working in the background so when its deleted it just puts itself back in.

A boot-time scan will bypass all that.
