  1. plz suggest me how to remove VBS:Malware-gen. i’a using avast free edition to remove it but it’s coming back again. y antivirus is able to detect it but is unable to remove. suggest me how to remove it.

  3. I have Avast professional 4.7.1098, and it won’t get rid of this. it’s in my bootini file on every computer and harddrive i have, i have been unable to quarantine it so it doesn’t spread. help?

  4. Have you tried a boot scan in avast? That normally works for me when I’ve got sticky malware.

  5. I have the free avast, and I quarantined it in the “chest” thing because it infected a music file I have. What exactly does this virus do to your computer? Will simply keeping it in the chest thing help…or? I don’t really know how to remove the virus after putting the file in the chest as well, so.. can anyone help with my questions?

  6. Please suggest me how to remove VBS:Malware-gen. . I am using Avast V 4.7 Home edition (free edition). I am unable to remove VBS:Malware-gen virus . Even I can’t format my pen drive.

  7. I plugged a flash drive into my pc and my Avast Home Edition 4.8(free,updated from the trial version of 4.7)picked it up immediately,so I moved it to the chest and deleted it.I haven’t had any problems of recurrence yet…
