by the way I did have spybot s@d, advanced windows care ver2, spyware terminator, ccleaner, tune-up utilities 2008, spyware blaster, spyeraser, cwshreader, and none could detect it. also used spyware doctor (but wanted to be registered to remove anything) and also have Avast as anti-virus program. TNX, I cant belive I got infected. This malware has several variants,so I tried the fixed for those and were not helpfull at all, ’till I found this post.
BTW: how is it possible that this ppl still have a .com domain ? Once this is reported as a fraud, the domain should be removed inmediately…
I have sen many forums where people were following so many steps - this is probably the best answer. Gr8 work!
I downloaded the setup but when trying to run it, I receive an error stating I don’t have priviledges.
Thank god you have posted the link to the best malware removal program invented! I am SHOCKED that free-viruscan.com is getting away with this type of malware infection. I wish someone would create a reverse malware that attacks their servers.

We have Norton and it didn’t fix the problem so we’re going to give this a try. If I don’t post back, it worked. We run Windows Vista Home Edition and get the pop up everytime we click on something (to open a folder) and internet explorer crashes.
couldnt do a thing, no browsing or downloading but
just do a quick restore and it removes it
click:
start>help and support>..undo changes to your computer with a system restore.
and they even had a google branded page on one of the pages saying download it here

You just save the day. Is working 100%. No more troubles with these pop ups.
Thank U a lot. You saved my PC from format action…
I am Hero.and u are my hero.
Many thanks guys - you are heroes.
Those ass-wipe free-viruscan low lifes will get one helluva kicking if I meet them on a dark night.
On August 8th, my PC was infected with free-viruscan.com. McAfee anti-virus (runs silently in the background) with my Comcast account didn’t detect it,nor did their virus-scan detect it. I updated SpyBot (I usually update it once a week to several times a month) and Spybot caught it, and blocked it. Don’t always depend on anti-virus programs - you need many tools as protection - what a sad thought!
Worked!
Many thanks! :) Avast and Dr.Web didn’t found the trojan.
WOW. ur the best!!!!
WOHOOO.
it really annoys me when it shows up.
God bless u. more power
it works perfectly…..
thanks and god bless you…
