1. Download Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware (mbam-setup.exe) and save it on your Desktop.
2. After downloading, double-click on mbam-setup.exe to install the application.
3. Follow the prompts and install as “default” only
4. Before the installation completes, check on the following prompts:
- Update Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware
- Launch Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware
5. Click “Finish.” Program will run automatically and you will be prompt to update the program before doing a scan. Please update.
6. Scan your computer thoroughly.
7. When scanning is finished click on the “Show Results”
8. Make sure that all detected threats are marked, click on Remove Selected.
9. Restart your computer.

Note: SPYWARE.MONSTER.FX may prevent mbam-setup.exe from downloading and running. You can download and rename this program from a different computer before running it on infected system.

I was really afraid to try this for fear it was going to be another well-disguised virus - but my computer was crashing every 3 minutes, so I figured I’d give it a shot. This is the real deal - THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! It worked the first time - was simple - all you do is follow the prompts - and now my computer is back to normal. Thank you again!

I downloaded and run the programme. Removed all infected files and now it seems that everything is ok! Just to be sure Iam running it again as we speak:)

i cant download anything. is there anything i can save to a usb stick/jump drive and then save on infected computer?

i guess i should have said also, that i have done the safe mode, but cannot get on the internet in safe mode.

i am not computer savvy enough to know how.

I was freakin out! AntiVirus 2010 should be sued! I read on a google site that its a scam to get them to buy their product. I purchased one spyware program and it didn’t work with Vista, so I wasted $47 on that piece of software. I’m unemployed and have no income so I have to be fruggle with my money. Finally, I decided to purchase your product and WHAM it worked. A good price to…worth every penny. Thank you so much!

After a couple of failed attempts with software that I refused to buy, I finally found the free download on this site. It worked the first time, and I’m up and running without that pesty virus.
Lorri probably downloaded a software from this site that you have to buy. I did the same thing, but stopped short of buying it knowing that there had to be a free download somewhere on this site. I’m happy I found it…thanks a million.

How do you get on the internet in safe mode to download mbam-setup.exe? Anybody know?

Every time i try to run the program it just starts for a sec, then closes.

ya for me too.. runs for a sec then closes.. still fighting with the malware.. trying to restart and scan again… so far no joy

I download the malware software but it wont let me get the updates. What can i do to get the updates?
