1. Download Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware (mbam-setup.exe) and save it on your Desktop.
2. After downloading, double-click on mbam-setup.exe to install the application.
3. Follow the prompts and install as “default” only
4. Before the installation completes, check on the following prompts:
- Update Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware
- Launch Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware
5. Click “Finish.” Program will run automatically and you will be prompt to update the program before doing a scan. Please update.
6. Scan your computer thoroughly.
7. When scanning is finished click on the “Show Results”
8. Make sure that all detected threats are marked, click on Remove Selected.
9. Restart your computer.
Note: Pro Antispyware 2009 may prevent mbam-setup.exe from downloading and running. You can download and rename this program from a different computer before running it on infected system.
Hi, I’m a victim of antispyware pro xp. “Erica” 416-907-7409 called and told me the money was not collected; (I had cancelled my credit card after my computer crashed from this download) She told me to call tech support at 1 800 755 5909. Who do I contact to get in touch w/ these people and get me a new computer?

i purchased pro antispyware 2009 and the ativation key is invalid.there is no response from them til now.i dont know if this is fake
I fell victim to this virus on 11/08. It rendered my computer virtually useless. I didn’t attempt to provide any bank info, as I sensed it was fake, but it did it’s damage anyway. I spent over 10 hours on the phone with the techies from Dell, and had to spend about $175 to have them thwart this thing remotely after 3 attempts. I wish I had known about the above remedy sooner (but had no way to access it at the time). I’m kicking myself now for allowing my virus protection to lapse. I feel sorry for anyone who falls victim to this damn thing :(
I wish i had checked this website before I purchased the software..I also had to call someone else for remote help removing multiple Trojan virus’…total scam!!

Yes I had all the pop ups and warnings from this proantispyware did the scan and now I cant get rid of them. did the order trying to get my computer back. Their activation code will not work and the e-mail is inactive. Called credit card co. and put stop on payment. Wish I had done a little reserche first. This is a scam

My computer was infected with this even though I had Mcafee protection. The Malwarebytes program worked great.
