Common file-infector virus like Virut, Sality, Parite will modify or inject itself on executable found on compromised computer, but this new virus which as tagged W32.Induc.A is far more different. It will look for Borland Delphi compiler on the compromised computer and if found, the source file SysConst.pas will be replaced by a malicious one and is compiled into SysConst.dcu (W32.Induc.A!dcu as detected by Symantec). Newly compiled files authored on that  is now infected with a malware.

An excerpt from Avast Blog says:

A few statistics: A few hours after VPS update 090818-0 (contains detection Win32:Induc) we received hundreds of suspected “false positive alerts” – all of them were infected. In the last 12 hours (since VPS was released) avast! has found ~200 000 infected files.
