Security Central won’t allow me to install Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware. It stops/kills the mbam-setup.exe and won’t allow the process. Even in Safe Mode, it locks up the PC when attempting to stop the SC process to run the Anti-Malware. Stops/kills process on every anti-virus program I’ve tried to throw at it.

Help?

Thanks for any responses.

P.S. It won’t allow me to launch Outlook for email at my home email address either! Thus, I’ve given you my work email.

After running the virus scan, I had to delete the Security tool file from the c drive, which was named a series of numbers. Otherwise, everytime I restarted the computer it came back.

1. Download Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware (mbam-setup.exe) and save it on your Desktop.
2. After downloading, double-click on mbam-setup.exe to install the application.
3. Follow the prompts and install as “default” only
4. Before the installation completes, check on the following prompts:
- Update Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware
- Launch Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware
5. Click “Finish.” Program will run automatically and you will be prompt to update the program before doing a scan. Please update.
6. Scan your computer thoroughly.
7. When scanning is finished click on the “Show Results”
8. Make sure that all detected threats are marked, click on Remove Selected.
9. Restart your computer.

Note: Wind Optimizer may prevent mbam-setup.exe from downloading and running. You can download and rename this program from a different computer before running it on infected system.

Fake Security Tool, it block my PC for 2 days and it force & ask me to buy its program, go to hell for Security Tool.
