Virus Threats and Removal Tools

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion
\Winlogon\Notify\[TROJAN FILE NAME]

Note: [TROJAN FILE NAME] is the name of the file detected in Step 3 above.

Navigate to and delete the subkeys and delete value:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion
\Explorer\ShellExecuteHooks

Value: "{EA32FB3B-21C9-42cc-B8EF-01A9B28EDB0D}" = ""
 

6. Exit registry and re-start the computer
