   …..it really affects my system unit… the FuVirus slower the process and its disable the task manager and show hidden files. my desktop show an extra folder named “Documents” and my local disk is full of folder that is different color and style… it looks like an old one folder. pls.. need your full support about it… its new for me.. thanks.

   Just as same as dud, same symptoms, some help to getting rid this FUvirus exe., i already tried trend micro housecall but cannot removed the virus, PLEASE HELP US, THANKS IN ADVANCE

   1. Download Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware (mbam-setup.exe) and save it on your Desktop.
   2. After downloading, double-click on mbam-setup.exe to install the application.
   3. Follow the prompts and install as “default” only
   4. Before the installation completes, check on the following prompts:
   - Update Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware
   - Launch Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware
   5. Click “Finish.” Program will run automatically and you will be prompt to update the program before doing a scan. Please update.
   6. Scan your computer thoroughly.
   7. When scanning is finished click on the “Show Results”
   8. Make sure that all detected threats are marked, click on Remove Selected.
   9. Restart your computer.

   Note: Some malware may prevent mbam-setup.exe from downloading and running. You can download and rename this program from a different computer before running it on infected system.

   thank you very much webmaster, i’ve already delete the FUvirus, but my files on my hardrive was lost, as i open my hdd, i cannot find my files but on my other programs that had a shortcut i can access it, kindly help me again how to retrieve my files, Thanks in advance and more power!

   about the problem of lupin..

   download isreset
   go to my computer -> C:
   then go to tools -> folder options -> view
   then look for show hidden files and folders, click it
   look for hide protected system files, uncheck it
   highlight all folders, and drop to isreset
   press reset, and that should do it

   Thanks Adin234 for advice but i cannot download the isRESET because my anti virus was detecting a virus which i cannot download it, should i continue downloading or there is another software that is virus free to download, By the way i try to download it on the cnet. thanks in advance,hoping that you will help me again!

   i already did scan my computer with Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware and detect viruses, after i delete all and restart my pc, the extra folder “documents” is still on my desktop and my task manager is still disabled….pls help me and others with this problem..tnx

   To Latebloomer:
   Just update your anti virus, this previous month, only few antivirus can remove the fuvirus but as of now i know majority of anti virus can remove the fuvirus, just scan it with your anti virus, i am using avast home edition, and on my other pc i’m using NOD32, all of them can wipe out that virus, hope this will help!

    try to delete it in command, we experience that problem and no fuvirus come back..

    i got the same problem and this is what i did.. hope it helps..

    1. Open command prompt. type in the ff:
    taskkill /IM fuvirus.exe

    2. Download Avira Antivirus free edition (if you dont have antivirus that can detect fu virus) and update it.

    3. Run full scan. Delete all threats detected.

    4. Restart PC.

    5. Download ISRESET.. (thanks to ADIN234) follow his instructions.

    My pc is 100% clean again with FUVIRUS.EXE.. thanks guys..

    pls help me about this fuvirus..

    all of the folders i have was turned into .exe files and i can’t access any of my folders anymore..
    i don’t know but it doesn’t disable my task manager when i just recently turned on my pc so i can see it on the applications running and i could use end task.
    but if it took me long before i could open the task manager after starting my pc, the task manager is already disabled so i have to restart my pc and have to get the right timing before fuvirus disables my task manager..

    i tried to open command prompt. type in the ff:
    taskkill /IM fuvirus.exe (just as mark said) but there was an ERROR: The process “fuvirus.exe” not found.

    i tried downloading NOD32 (just as lupin said) but there was an error installing.

    huhu. need more help..this fuvirus really loves my pc it won’t leave..

    Hello…. im new here… try downloading the latest bit defender Total Security. Works very fine and removes all malwares and viruses. works like more better than malwareProtection…..

    my only problem is like with lupin, my files where gone and i followed ADDIN’s instruction with the show folder factor….

    im sorry i just dont understand the “highlight all folders, and drop to isreset
    press reset, and that should do it ”

    please guide….. i dont get the highlight thing….
    please guide in step by step…thank you very much….

    i’m also having the same problem….malwarebytes is effecitve in removing fuvirus….but all the files converted to .exe files were gone…
