Spyware Warning
“Spyware Warning” is a pop-up alert being displayed on computers infected with a fake software called Desktop Security 2010. This vicious and misleading effort to fool computer users serves a purpose of stealing money when an online transaction is fulfilled. To be able to witness fake Spyware Warning pop-up, Trojan must penetrate unguarded system first. It goes directly to system settings and Windows registry to amend entries and achieve needed changes. If completed, rogue program begin to advertise itself through Spyware Warning.

Suggestion: On the Scan option panel select “Deep scan” option. Now you can run a full scan of your system.

This warning will function as scare tactics when endorsing fake anti-virus application. It may declare several virus attack and infection but none actually exists. Every appearance of “Spyware Warning” counts as an effort of rogue author to sell the ineffective product. Ignore and simply scan computer with legitimate anti-malware program. This method will take out unnecessary software and stop ”Spyware Warning” pop-up.

How to remove Spyware Warning
1. Click here to download removal tool. Save it on your Desktop.
2. After downloading, double-click on the file to install the application.
3. Follow the prompts and install as “default” only
4. If it prompts to update the database after installation, please proceed.
5. Click “Finish.” Program will run automatically and you will be prompt to update the program before doing a scan. Please update.
6. Scan your computer thoroughly.
7. When scanning is finished, click on the “Show Results”
8. Make sure that all detected threats are marked, click on Remove Selected.
9. Restart your Windows.
Note: Associated Trojan will prevent mbam-setup.exe from downloading and running. You can download and rename this program from a different computer before running it on infected system.
