   you should delete your connection and make a new connection with that name(z-connect)
   and connet to the internet with this
   virus can’t make a connection becouse there is one with same name

   Z-connect Is A realy Bad Virus , If We Download A Perfect Antivirus , We Can’t Delete This Virus . You Should To Delete it And Make A new Connection With That Name (z-connect) And The (z-connect) Won’t Sign In

    in my pc i have access net. After connect net for five min connect then disconnect & in my network connection come new folder Z-connect its a virus so pls give me a best solution how to solve this problem.

    My Vodafone 3G connection kept on dropping. I discovered and deleted the z-connect connection and renamed my original VMCLite 3G connection to z-connect. This seems to be working perfectly!!!

    yes it does work, just delete the z-connect connection and rename your connection as z-connect

    Colleagues, the ultimate solution to this problem is to do a thorough clean up on your machine. i mean a format. however, as Z connect kicks off your connection you can also kick it off by connecting through it. Here is how you connect through it
    1. Go to your web browser, say Internet Explorer
    2. Select Tools and scroll down to Internet Options
    3.On the Internet Options dialog box, select the Connections tab
    4.Under Dial Up And Virtual Network Private Settings, you will see a list of different connections including z-connect.
    5. Double click on Z-connect, put in your username and password, plus the domain if you have the details from your ISP
    6.Click on Properties and look for the phone number, put in the access number that you were given by your ISP then OK.
    7.Close everything and go to Network connections
    8.Double click on Z connect and enter the Phone dial up number then dial to the internet
    At this point, you will be able to connect to the internet and browse normally. however, this will not wipe away the virus.

    I was so nervous by this problem. this way help me and solve it, thank you very much for the site and your suggestion.I deleted my connection and make new one by the name of z-connect, virus removed inspite of that i didnt have any anitivirus on my pc.

    I have tried renaming my connection to z-connect but still it changes trying to connect to 000. I cannot format!is there any other way! antivirus etc

    Thanks ghasim it worked I was at that point on buying a new Laptop it is really frustrating I hope the z-connect people get a cramp were it hurt that they must be formated thanks a mill !!!!!!!!!!!!

    I also used to have the same problem and have used the solution below. But what I need a removal tool that removes the virus permanently

    My Solution
    Remove files used by the z-connect (executables with funny names) and the connection from internet options.

    Run Local Security Settings (secpol.msc),

    Enable the Disallow option

    Connect to the net using yo usual connection and browse.

    Remember to do the reverse for you to run other programs

    Z-CONNECT is too bad, but thank God i send it away. very simple idea, all what you need is to remove your moder board battery for some hours and contiue browsing, after some hours return the battery back, and say bye bye to Z-CONNECT. BAD VIRUS IS BEEN SENT TO MY SYSTEM BY MY FRIENDS…………………………..

    THIS FILE IS RESPONSIBLE TO CREATING z CONNECT AND DIALING WRONG NUMBER(000) .
    SO
    1-> MAKE OFF YOUR CONNECTION
    2-> DELETE THIS FILE y5o8h28d4.exe
    3-> MAKE A NEW FOLDER THERE AND RENAME IT AS
    y5o8h28d4.exe
    5-> NOW AGAIN CONNECT YOUR DIALUP NETWORK

    Yeah the Z connection has been giving me a lot of hell on my laptop. I have decided to create a network connection called Z_connect and it seems to be working well now for me.

    z connect ‘virus’ is asociated wit the dreaded recycler. is it not obvious. but it plasgued me. i think i mover come it by using google search and do what they say to do. the very fact i could post this comment means that i have won this battle but the war is not over…………………………

    Deleted the z-connect connection, added a new cnxtn called z-connect, entered isp details, now i am browsing.

    My fear is that as a spyware, assholes may still see into my laptop, so no more businessing on this laptop until i get a true removal tool. Any ideas
