Cyber Protection Center is a fraud security application. Dropping the malware on computers without user’s awareness is certainly achievable with the use of Trojan. Both rogue program and Trojan do not replicate. It will not infect neighboring computers as well. The only payload of these malware is to induce victims into purchasing the paid version of the product. Therefore, infection will occur as a profit-making online activity that undertakes misleading routine.

Be warned that Mazar’s solution DOES NOT remove Cyber Protection Centre, and unfortunately he’s dropping the same “solution” in many sites I’ve googled about this pesky program. Killing “cs.exe” is only a temporary measure, it WILL restart – don’t be fooled.
After trying this “fix”, go to the Remove Programs section of your Windows Control Panel – you’ll see it’s still there, but try to Remove the program and it immediately starts up again.
Also check Start->All Programs, you’ll probably see a folder called CSec – that’s where Cyber Protection Centre has installed itself. Of course, there’s no uninstall option.
