When trying to scan, the trogan stopped it from scanning. So redownload malwarebytes, install, and dont start it up. Restart computer hit F8 repeatedely, select start in Safemode. Then fire up malwarebytes and do a scan. Or before all of this, I also found that if I went into My Computer, Program Files, Common Files there was a folder named "uninstall CSes" Double click, then double click again on uninstall cses and boom it was all completed. So make sure you look in there first thing before going through all of the trouble.

I actually had to restart in safe mode using F8 with Malwarebytes installed but never used!! I had already had another case of an virus impersonating an Antivirus, so this time I knew something was up when a scan screen appeared notifying me of "42 Infections" in my computer. I Googled it, and sure enough it was a virus. I have already tried various ways to remove it by My Computer, but it eithere says or I do not have permission, or the program has encountered a problem and needs to close. I'm downloading the Antivirus you guys suggested (Malwarebytes), but the Cyber Security program might not let me access it and delete the virus from my PC.

My computer got this virus yesterday from a thingy that said I needed to download an Active-X control. Avast has always been quick to catch everything that has tried to get onto my computer but no program is perfect. A computer genius friend of mine told me that the virus can have new strains that virus scanner companies do not even know about yet so all you can do is be careful where you go online and be aware of what is going into your computer.

As for a good program, I use Avast Home Edition but I am not sure that any of these programs know how to block any new viruses. It wouldn't let me and said I required permissions. I right clicked on the file and went to properties. In the properties section I opened the permissions tab and noted that the permissions tab had full permissions granted. I clicked edit and denied all permissions and was able to successfully remove the whole cyber security program. My computer is runnoing fine again with no sign of Cyber Security. This worked for me and it may not work for you but I figured I would put it out there. It is alot better than paying $150+ to have someone else do the same thing and run a scan that I can do at home.

I just made Spyware Doctor refund my money because the ad says it will remove cyber security and it never did. i found the CS file and tried to delete it. CS is a rogue anti-spyware application that uses notifications and fabricated system scans to scare users. CS cannot effectively detect? or remove computer parasites. You can move around the fake defender to access files and websites by using the back and forth tabs. To Remove CS do the following steps: startup/my computer/OS(C):/Program Files (x86)/CS right click delete. The execution file tsc.exe is located in this folder, after it is deleted go to /Recycle Bin/Empty Recycle Bin. To Remove the fake notification, upgrade windows with latest software IE8.
