Paladin Antivirus is a rogue security software created for the Windows environment. Paladin Antivirus Trojan will first attempt to hijack the Internet browser of the computer and points it to unknown malicious websites. From there, a couple of files will be downloaded to a computer without users knowledge and aims to install the demo version of Paladin Antivirus. Once installed, this unwanted program will generate fake security computer alerts and warnings in the purpose of misleading users into obtaining the Paladin Antivirus activation key and serial number.
