SecureKeeper virus will disguise as a legitimate Windows security program to mislead computer users into obtaining the registered version of it and gain a monetary revenue for its developers. This has been the strategy for all rouge security applications including the previously released applications like LinkSafeness, SiteVillain and AntiAid. SecureKeeper will utilized a Trojan and a number of malicious security websites called SecureKeeper – Online Protection to spread itself on computers connected to Internet. There has been an instance that SecureKeeper will be downloaded into computers by pretending to be a video codec required by some websites to get installed on computers in order to play online video files.

Malevolent programs like SecureKeeper Trojan will be a headache for computer users. It was not easy to get rid of, particularly if only using antivirus program. To remove this bogus thing completely, a tested anti-malware application must be used as SecureKeeper removal tool.
