1. First thing to do is to reboot the computer in Safe Mode with Networking to avoid Windows Instant Scanner from loading at start-up. You may want to print this procedure as we have to restart the computer to complete the removal process.

4. Delete all files dropped by Windows Instant Scanner.
- While still in Safe Mode, search and delete malicious files. Please refer to 'Technical Reference'. Make sure that you execute 'End Task' first before deleting the file. Otherwise, the system will not let you perform this action.

My sister’s laptop got this virus and it won’t let her browse the Internet so how can she download the removal tool? Also, we notice that the virus also blocks program. If that is the case, when we download a remover from other computer, virus will also block it. So, I can we run a scan?
