We purchased XP Internet Security 2011 in May of 2011, for one year at $59.95. Therefore our service should be end in May 2012.

While on the Internet December 2011, a pop-up appeared for XP Internet Security 2012 “warning” me that my computer was infected with several serious virus’s. The message made it impossible for me to continue what I was doing, XP Internet Security 2012 took over my
computer. Although I was more than annoyed, I purchased the 2012 version for an additional $59.95 for another year.

Please check your records and respond to me through my e-mail, it is next to impossible to contact you privately.

I do expect a response ASAP. I tried calling the phone number listed on the invoice for the 2011 purchase, however it has been disconnected. Also I tried to e-mail XP Internet Security using the address shown of the 2011 invoice but the e-mail bounced back to me as undeliverable.

We have found the way to remove this xp internet virus.
(1)Down loud a programme called revo uninstaller.Make sure not to close xp internet security.

(2)run programme-Look for the tab hunt mode (little circle with + sign)
(3)Drag circle on the page with xp internet security.
(4)Note the location where the virus is installed.
(5)restart pc in safe mode go to the target where it is installed(eg C/user/user/local setting application data/twf.exe)delete the file and all its components.Restart Pc ,problem solved.
NB:just to make sure run your antivirus just in case

I removed the virus, but now I cannot do “Windows Update”. It will not
let me update my Win XP and Vista O.S.
What should I do?

I downloaded the latest version of malwarebytes but it did not give me a ‘default’ option and then after I rebooted, my computer came back on and now the apps, when I click on like solitare to open, ask me to pick a program to open them with. In order to get them to open properly, I have to right click them and hit ‘run as…’ and then unclick the box that says ‘protect my computer…’ I have NO idea how to fix that, any suggestions?

So I have this virus “xp home security 2011″ and all the ways to fix it require me downloading a virus remover from all sorts of websites but that’s the thing. This virus won’t let me access the Internet in anyway so what can I do?

To temporary Kill XP INTERNET SECURITY

If its blocking MalwareBYtes

GO TO
Task mangaer and end PW.exe under processes

then run Malwarebytes and remove it
