Threat Removal Procedure:
1. Download and install Ad-Aware SE Personal.
2. Launch Ad-Aware by double-clicking the icon it created.
3. If running Ad-Aware for the first time, please update it by pressing WebUpdate
4. The update will start and indicator bar will show the updates process
5. If “Update successful” appears, close Ad-Aware
6. Reboot your computer in SafeMode [how to]
7. Close any running applications and open Ad-Aware
8. Do a Full Scan of your computer.
9. Clean and delete all infected files it founds
10. Reboot your computer in Normal Mode.

Lavasoft’s Ad-Aware 2007 DOES NOT do what it states that it will do. I purchased this software in order to remove the w32.myzor.FK@yf malware. I ran this at least 4 times; twice in SAFE MODE and my Internet browser is still not fixed! I’m going to call my credit card company and try to stop payment on this piece of junk!!!

I am trying to run Ad-aware in safe mode but getting the following error:
Application Error - Exception EAccess Violation in module Ad-Aware.exe @ 001DA25C. Access Violation @ address 005DA25C in module ‘Ad-Aware.exe.’ Read of address 00000418
I can run Ad-aware with no problems when not in safe mode. Only get this error when trying to run the program in safe mode.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled Ad-aware.
Any ideas?….

Cleanng my pc from unused programs I delelted lavasoft 7, and now I get a sldelete proram not found. I took all the steps recommned to fix this probl, and no dice. So insalled adware 8 and problem dissapeared. Then I unistalled it again took the necessary steps in regedit, edit, find, wrote BootEcecute, modify and manually deleted sldelte clsed edit and rebooted and m porblem continues aat startup. Any suggestion! RT
