Mswbar.dll is a toolbar file that installs with the MyWebSearch toolbar. This toolbar add-on is bundled with various freeware applications that can be donwloaded from the internet for free.

How to Fix Unable to find mswbar.dll

1. Please go to Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and remove any of these applications present:

My Search Bar
My Web Search Bar
Popswatter
SmileyCentral
My Mail Stamp
Search Assistant
My Speedbar
Fun Web Products Easy Installer

2. Go to Internet Explorer Menu. Then, Tools>Options

3. Internet Options will appear, go to Programs tab

4. Click on Manage add-ons, Disable the name/filenames that consists of mwsoemon.exe, s4bar.dll, s42ns.exe, s4bareq.exe, my2ns.exe, mysrchas.dll, NPMyWay.dll, and mwsbar.dll.

5. With Administrator privilege go to, Start>Run = msconfig, then click OK

6. System Configuration Utility will appear. Uncheck any entries that contains: mwsoemon.exe, s4bar.dll, s42ns.exe, s4bareq.exe, my2ns.exe, mysrchas.dll, NPMyWay.dll, and mwsbar.dll. Then click Apply to save the settings.

7. Restart your computer.

8 After restarting computer, System Configuration Utility warning will appear. Check the box to prevent the warning from displaying again when Windows starts.

I NEED HELP I AM NOT ABLE TO OPEN UP MOZILLA FIREFOX, I AM GETTING AN ERROR MESSAGE FROM(OLEAUT), CAN YOU HELP ME, BUT IT’S NOT ON MY COMPUTER IT’S ON MY MOTHER’S AND SINCE SHE CAN’T GET INTERNET HOW CAN WE FIX THIS.

I have the smae problem as Leslie I recently installed Smily face in my Xp program, I found out that it was not a good program to have to I unstill it an now everytime that i Start my computer I have this message Error loading C:\PROGRAM-1\MYWBS-1\bar\1.bin\M3PPLUGIN.DLL

Please help me out

Tengo el mismo problema de: Alejandra, Leslie, y Grace al prender el computador me sale una ventana de dialogo que dice: C:\PROGRAM-1\MYWBS-1\bar\1.bin\M3PPLUGIN.DLL y que no se puede encontrar el modulo especificado, ya intente quitar el programa por panel de control y no se pudo… gracias por su ayuda
