Oops! This link appears to be broken. Google Chrome Fix
“Oops! This link appears to be broken.” is a Google Chrome DNS Error problem page. This error is cause by DNS pre-fetching features of Google Chrome. This feature was added in order to improve browsing performance and page load speed. However, it may experience an error when there is a difficulty for Google Chrome to fetch DNS records of requested web sites.
To resolve this issue, please follow these steps.
1. Open Google Chrome
2. Access the menu on the top right portion of the browser and select Options.
3. Options dialog box will appear, select the Under the Hood tab.
4. Remove the check on the “Use DNS pre-fetching to improve page load performance” to disable this feature. Close the dialog box and restart Google Chrome.
After applying these steps, expect that there is no more “Oops! This link appears to be broken” error page.
