A rogue security application employs this continuing process of confusing pop-up alerts in an attempt to further influence user’s decision in considering the endorse program as the necessary tool to remove threats and other sorts of infection.
Objective of this deceiving tactic is to convince user to obtain a paid copy of said rogue software. The full message reads:
Windows Antivirus Pro has denied Internet access of the program.
Internet Explorer is possible injected with worm Backdoor.Win32.Hupigon.fixn. This worm
attempts to send your personal information to remote host thought Internet Explorer.

How to Remove Backdoor.Win32.Hupigon.fixn
1. Temporarily Disable System Restore (Windows Me/XP). [how to]
2. Open your antivirus application and update the virus definition file. This method ensures that your antivirus program can detect even newer variants of Backdoor.Win32.Hupigon.fixn
3. Start Windows in Safe Mode with Networking.
- From a power-off state, turn on the computer and press F8 on your keyboard repeatedly.
- Your computer will display Windows Advanced Boot Options menu. Please select Safe Mode with Networking.
