Critical System Warning! Trojan.Win32.Agent.azsy

A “Critical System Warning!” that poses as a legitimate alert from Windows Task-bar announcing that computer is infected with Trojan.Win32.Agent.azsy is a part of Personal Antivirus deceiving tactics. Personal Antivirus is a rogue security application that uses deceiving information as a marketing method to persuade users into purchasing the registered version.

Never consider rogue security program to resolve any computer issues. They are developed as a moneymaking device to indirectly steal money from victims. Trust only known and effective security products from trusted developers.

Malware Behavior
When a rogue program infects a computer, it will promote itself using false security warnings. It tries to mislead victims to make them believe that system is infected with a Trojan. On this instance, a pop-up warning states that it detects an occurrence of Trojan.Win32.Agent.azsy on the computer.

Critical System Warning!
Your system is infected with version of Trojan.Win32.Agent.azsy. This malicious program is a Trojan. It is a Windows PE EXE. Once launched, the Trojan copies its body to the current user’s Windows start-up directory and attempts to steal passwords from it.

How to Remove Critical System Warning! Trojan.Win32.Agent.azsy

Boot Windows in Safe Mode With Networking

1. First thing to do is to reboot the computer in Safe Mode with Networking to avoid "Critical System Warning!" from loading at start-up. You may want to print this procedure as we have to restart the computer to complete the removal process.
- Restart the computer.
- Before Windows begins to load, press F8 on your keyboard.
- It will display an Advanced Boot Options menu. Select Safe Mode with Networking.
- Windows will now start in Safe Mode.

Remove "Critical System Warning!" with MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware

2. Download Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware (mbam-setup.exe) and save it on your Desktop or any location on your PC.
3. When finish downloading, double-click on the file mbam-setup.exe to install the application.
4. Follow the prompts and install with default configuration.
5. Before the installation completes, check on the following prompts:
- Update Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware
- Launch Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware

6. Click Finish. Program will run automatically and you will be prompt to update the program before doing a scan. Please update.
7. When finished updating, Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware will run. Select Perform full scan on main screen to check your computer thoroughly.
8. When scanning is finished click on Show Results.
9. Make sure that all detected threats are checked, click on Remove Selected. This will delete all files and registry entries that belongs to "Critical System Warning!".
10. Restart your computer.

Note: If "Critical System Warning!" prevents mbam-setup.exe from downloading. Download the software from another computer. Renaming it to something like 'anything.exe' can help elude the malware.
